Drink My Brewcast is my possible by North Peak Brewing Company in Traverse City, MI. The outdoor patio is closing up labor day weekend and we always celebrate the transition into the fall with a members only party. For more information on the North Peak Beer Club check out

mesocyclone rolled through Northern Michigan leaving Traverse City, Elk Rapids, and mainly Glen Arbor distress. Powers been out for many and damage has caused trouble and delays for many. Lob Bob and Shauny boy are feeling those effects right now with trees burling through Shauny's house, and Los Bob losing power for days. Despite the storm the show rolls on and we kick it off with the 7 Monks Brew for the Crew.

Our Brew for the crew today is the Bonfire Brown from Saugatuck Brewing Company. This brown was a gold medal winner at the World Beer Cup in 2014. The crew gives this bad boy a try and is impressed.

Our interview today is with Eric Stephenson, head brewer of Falling Down Beer Company in Warren, Michigan. Eric talks about the beer scene in the Northern Detroit area, how he went from home brewing to commercial brewing, and Falling Down's plan to open a new brewpub in Oxford, MI.

In our last segment of the show Los Bob covers brew news, and we did not have a trivia winner last week because we tried something didn't work. So this week we're back to just questions and we've got a tough one for you. Make sure you check out the Drink My Brewcast Facebook page to answer that and win yourself a $10 gift card to North Peak Brewing Company.
